“Turning Leaves” is a beginner-friendly pattern with a big impact.  The leaf blocks twist and turn to reveal interesting secondary designs.  It’s a perfect addition to warm your home’s décor or to take along on Fall activities like hayrides and ball games.  Be sure to share your “Turning Leaves” quilt on Facebook at Ivy Lane Quilts!

“We Are Connected” featured as the Quilt of Valor pattern in the Summer 2025 issue of Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting

I’m honored to have my design “We Are Connected” chosen as the Quilt of Valor pattern for the Summer issue of Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting.  Click HERE to purchase a copy.

This quilt was inspired by the relationships formed among military families and the sacrifices they make to serve. The stars in the quilt honor that service. The secondary pattern of red appears to “reach out” and connect as they surround the stars. The blocks are made of 3 basic units and the quilt is made of a single block in two different colorways. It would be beautiful in Christmas prints or in blues and white/cream to resemble snowflakes.

Thank you for making the "We Are Connected" quilt design and sharing this photo. It's wonderful!
